The soon to be released biography of Steve Jobs is being updated to include in depth details about Steve Jobs’ abrupt resignation as the Apple CEO on Wednesday, August 24th 2011.

 

The publish of the book stated that it will include the announcement that Wednesday night, from Steve’s perspective. You can pre order the book on Amazon for $17.88 now (they will ship out on October 24th; 9 days from the moment I write this post), or you can wait until November 21st to pick it up in book stores nationwide for a retail price of $32.50.

Apple sets up Memorial Service for Oct. 16th

On Sunday October 16th, Apple Inc. will be holding a memorial service for Steve Jobs on the University of Stanford’s campus, according to the invitation which a variety of Silicon Valley “big-shots” have received.

This memorial follows a smaller, private funeral which was held for Mr. Jobs last week. The memorial on Sunday is private, and is for the people that were close to Steve Jobs (family, friends) and of course several top Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.

 

Apple Inc. also has reported that they plan to host a large, more public event for Apple employees which will be for celebrating the life of Mr. Jobs. This will take place in Cupertino, California at the Apple headquarters on October 19th.

The biography of Steve Jobs has maintained it’s #1 status in the best sellers since October 6th, the day after the death of Steve Jobs.
This book is single handedly providing a “stimulus” if you will to the book publishing industry as a whole, the anticipation for this biography far surpasses any in the past.

Apple was founded in the year of 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. Before Apple was founded, Mr. Wozniak was an electronics based hacker.

On January 24th 1984, Steve Jobs gave a very emotional introduction of Macintosh to an incredibly hyped up audience which could best be described as “pandemonium”. Apple then became the first successful personal computer with a Graphical User Interface or GUI.

In 1984, Apple aired their first Super Bowl commercial which was conveniently titled “1984″.

Biography of Steve Jobs: The Movie

Rumor has it that Sony has purchased exclusive rights to bring the biography of Steve Jobs to the movie theater… $1+ million dollars later.

An anonymous insider source has told New York Times that Sony has secured the rights and agreed upon a price; it has been public knowledge that Sony was in the midst of negotiations,  but now it seems they have come to an agreement, we have heard they paid anywhere from $1 million to $3 million dollars for these rights.

The movie will be adapted from the biography, surprisingly enough named “Steve Jobs” (preorder the book through Amazon by clicking here – only $17.88) which will be released on October 24th 2011, written by Walter Isaacson who was personally authorized to write this book by Mr. Jobs himself.

Information about the movie such as when the production will begin, or when it will be released have not yet been made public, but we will be the fist to let you know; but we do expect a notably quick production and turnaround while still making it a phenomenal movie.

The publishing company (Simon & Schuster) of the Biography of Steve Jobs just announced that the book release date has moved up once again! The now official release date is:

 

 October 24th 2011

 

The book is set to be released on October 24th 2011! Which is 13 days from this post! It was originally scheduled to be released in 2012; then bumped up to November 2011 (next month), and now October 24th which it will stay.

 

This book is possibly the most anticipated release yet and will give a phenomenal run down of Steve Jobs’ life, accomplishments, family and friend relationships and so much more.
